ABOUT MICHELLE

Hello. My name is Michelle, and I am proud to be an Independent Licensed Accident and Sickness Specialist.

Like most of my amazing clients, until I was personally affected by an illness, I had no idea what supplemental coverage was or, even that it existed. This is, sadly, the main reason that we so often see Go Fund Me and crowd funding when friends and loved ones are going through their own unexpected medical emergencies. 

Unfortunately, after I faced two cancer diagnoses, my family's financial outlook was grim. It took years for me to pay back loans that I had had to take, in order to cover my missing income, travel to and from specialists, hotels, meals, medication and supplements, and childcare. And, although I had excellent group benefits, these additional costs meant that my family's finances quickly became extremely strained. We just couldn't keep up and, the additional stress, while already facing such a difficult time, meant that I could not just focus on healing. 

After recovering, I decided that I wanted to help others to not have to be faced with financial uncertainty, while going through their most stressful times.
